Color Troubadour

I've started an investigation into temporary living situations. For quite some time the idea has been floating everywhere I look. Partly because of the arrival of Airbnb's, as well as the awful reality of how much it costs to rent to have a roof over one's head. The title DPU (Dis-located person's Unit) came about thanks to a discussion I was having with an activist friend about homelessness. WHen i used the word 'homeless' he quipped  'The correct term is 'displaced'. See, ADU (is that right? I don't know-getting into city municipalities use of terms is a mind boggle rabbit hole you do not want to go down!) or UDA or whatever is it, is a mirror to this alternative universe where you'd find a  multi-colored sculpture of blankets twisted to fit on a shopping cart or other available moveable container with wheels. This incredible piece of art that someone had ducktaped and rolled down the highway to the great Northwest woods for the night and I thought what is an alternative word that would legitimize these physical embodiments of "home"?
The decision of this background music came down to a few different points of view... Blues? Musak or Electronica? The melding of  the country landscape 'out in the middle of nowhere' with electronica seemed odd and intriguing. So, I settled on electronica.  I imagined an old man in a motor scooter, with all his strength that disadvantaged people inherently have, and I thought electronica matches the determination and yet juvenile niave  mish mash that pushing this contraption down the highway must have involved...
